DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS STUDIES OF L.N. GUMILEV EURASIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY: EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND PRACTICE
The Department of Religious Studies of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, established in 2012, is a unique scientific and educational center engaged in the study and analysis of religious phenomena in a historical and modern context. Since its foundation, the department has been actively developing, offering educational programs at all three levels of higher education: bachelor's, master's and PhD degrees.

In 2023, the department accepted students for the first time to the new interdisciplinary program "Psychology of Religion", developed jointly with the Department of Psychology, which was a significant step in the development of the department and the provision of unique educational opportunities.
Scientific activity
The teachers of the department actively participate in national and international scientific projects, including research in the field of religious studies and interdisciplinary areas. The research results are published in publications indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and RSCI, which emphasizes the high level of scientific work carried out at the department.
