"Practical classes at the Department of Media Communications and Public Relations are held in two educational television studios and a radio studio. The technical facilities of these platforms are on par with the standards of regional television channels. Modern equipment allows for the integration of innovative approaches into the educational process, providing students with excellent opportunities to refine their professional skills. The television studios are equipped with professional lighting systems, chroma key backgrounds, high-definition cameras, and vision mixers. Various media projects are produced here, enabling students to master all the nuances of creating news and information programming.
"Journalism ENU" Podcast Studio
"Journalism ENU" is a professional multimedia podcast studio established in 2026 within the Department of Media Communications and Public Relations at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The project functions as a specialized dialogue platform designed to bridge the gap between academic research and contemporary media practices.
Project Scope and Content The studio serves as an innovative hub for the production of high-quality intellectual content. The program focuses on the analytical discussion of science, culture, literature, and emerging trends in global communications.
Authorship and Hosting A key feature of the project is its commitment to academic continuity. The hosts of the studio include PhD candidates, Master’s students, and faculty members of the Higher School of Journalism and Social Sciences, ensuring a sophisticated level of discourse and expert evaluation. Sunqar Radiostudiyasy
Students of the Department of Media Communications and Public Relations at the Higher School of Journalism and Social Sciences of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University are actively honing their professional practical skills not only in TV studios but also in radio broadcasting. This process is carried out through a joint project — a partnership between "Shalkar" Radio and the ENU Higher School of Journalism and Social Sciences. Students are directly involved in the production of the Sunqar Radiostudiyasy program, mastering the nuances of radio journalism through hands-on experience. The creative work is supervised by Gulnur Omarkhankyzy, a renowned radio journalist and Senior Lecturer at the Department.
