On March 26, 2026, the acting head of the Department of Psychology, Professor A.S. Mambetalina, and faculty members of the Department of Psychology—A.M. Aitysheva, Ph.D. in Psychology, Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Psychology, Associate Professor A.R. Mandykayeva, and Ph.D. in Psychology, Senior Lecturer M.M. Ryskulova, delivered guest lectures to students at the State Academy of Sports as part of efforts to develop international cooperation.
Among the invited guests were the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A. I. Ikramov; the rector of the State Academy of Sports, I. Tursunaliyev; and other scholars.
These sessions were designed not only to improve physical fitness, but also to build psychological resilience, motivation, and self-regulation skills. The sessions covered topics such as stress management, improving concentration, building self-confidence, and effective teamwork.
Particular attention was paid to psychological preparation for competitions and recovery after physical exertion. The interactive format of the lectures included discussions, practical exercises, and analysis of real-life situations, which enabled the athletes to better absorb the material and apply the knowledge they gained in their training and during competitions.
Thus, these guest lectures played a significant role in developing not only the athletes’ physical abilities but also their psychological resilience, contributing to their high performance and professional growth.
